Oat Bran Crackers
½ cup boiling water
1 ½ Tbsp. oil
1 cup oat bran
½ tsp. Vege-Sal™ or your favorite seasoning salt
Mix all ingredients together. Divide into 18 balls, about 1 rounded teaspoon each. On a large, ungreased cookie sheet, flatten each ball with fingers to the thickness of a soda cracker. If crackers are too thick they will not be crisp, and if too thin they will burn. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Crackers are done when dry to the touch and sliding freely on cookie sheet. Makes 18 crackers.
